The passing of two Rochester icons: Gil McCurdy & Max Farash
Within the matter of two weeks Rochester has lost both Gilbert McCurdy (87) and Max Farash (95), two businessmen whose personal style, business practices, and own life stories served as markers for the region well into their later years. Both men actively and generously participated on the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (RDDC) board of directors until recently, and the RDDC community sends its best wishes to both of their families.
