Finale for Midtown Plaza
July 25, 2007 WXXI, Bud Lowell Friday at 5:30 p.m. marks the finale for Midtown Plaza -- the last day it's regularly open to the public. The Clock of Nations and most of the businesses are already gone. Many of the people walking through Midtown Plaza today carried cameras and were getting snapshots of its final hours. Some made a few final purchases at one of the few businesses that hasn't moved yet.......

Bordered by Euclid, Broad, Clinton, and Main Streets, the former plaza is widely anticipated to be redeveloped as a mixed-use site jointly administered by the Empire State Development Corporation and the City. Gilbane's experience includes extensive work in the County of San Diego and the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building in Washington, D.C.
