Performances by Elton John, Jimmy Buffett, Bette Midler, Fats Domino, The Neville Brothers, Stevie Nicks, Lenny Kravitz, John Fogerty, Loggins & Messina, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Original Meters, Allen Toussaint, and The The Dirty Dizen Brass Band and Rebirth Brass Band, and more. 100 percent of all proceeds, plus $100 million donated by MSG, was distributed to the Bush Clinton Katrina Fund, Habitat for Humantiy, MusiCaresTM Hurricane Relief fund and the Children's Health Fund.

Proceeds from the sale of $300 VIP tickets were donated to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, America's Second Harvest and similar organizations. In conjunction with MTV's "ReAct Now: Music & Relief" event (see Telethons), the concert aired September 18th.

Grand opening of "Willie's Place," Nelson's theatre, donated proceeds from September 26-27 debut concert to regions hardest hit by Katrina in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama and Florida.


On the final night of this summer's Ozzfest, the tour and promoter joined forces with the Red Cross to raise money for the victims of Hurrican Katrina. Cash donations were accepted at the Sept. 4 show at the Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL by Red Cross volunteers.
